When bigotry is normalized, normal people can be bigoted. Therefore, Trump supporters can be both ‘ordinary’ people and hateful bigots.

It was difficult not to start immeadaitely engaging with people when they said something ignorant, but I knew we were not in the majority, so it wouldn’t be wise to do so.
